The suction mechanism is straightforward to understand.

The red handle and clear mask each have a job. The mask forms a seal over the nose and mouth; the manual handle creates suction designed to help remove an airway obstruction. It is the mechanism shown in the video, explained in two parts you can recognize before bringing it home.

The design also supports using it on yourself.

Think back to the meals you eat by yourself. RescUAid is designed so you can position the mask and operate the handle on your own. That detail connects the mechanism to a real part of your day—and gives you a reason to decide where you would keep your kit.

You supply the movement—there are no batteries.

No power outlet. No charging cable. No battery replacement schedule. RescUAid’s suction handle is operated by hand. Give the kit a suitable, accessible storage spot and get familiar with its instructions. It’s one less device asking you to remember when you last plugged it in.

Place, press and pull give you a sequence to learn.

Place, press and pull give you three distinct movements to recognize. You can get familiar with the device while you are calm, with the instructions in front of you. Read the full procedure and limitations, including how RescUAid fits alongside established choking first aid, before an emergency.

Both mask sizes come in every complete kit.

You don’t have to choose between the adult and child mask when ordering a standard kit: both are included with the device. The child mask is for children over 12 months who weigh at least 22 pounds. Follow the instructions to select the appropriate mask and confirm suitability.
Adult and child masks included.
